We are looking for a Business Consultant who will be primarily accountable as a Demand and Project Manager. In this role you will be part of a global team of great minds with energetic spirit located in Biberach working together with a multicultural team supporting Research, Development & Medicine. Besides your colleagues in IT, you will be acting as IT Business Partner with your business colleagues for Human Pharma as well as Animal Health to allow them to grow their business.

Aufgaben
  • In your new role, you will serve as an expert for existing and new systems and solutions on technical and process level in the area of Laboratory Instrument, Management, Scientific Data Management and Data Integrity. 
  • You lead mid-size (agile) projects with medium to high complexity in the laboratory area, including its management and control. 
  • With agreed strategic IT roadmaps and target architectures, you ensure the alignment of projects. 
  • Furthermore, you consult your business customers in the area of Laboratory and Scientific Data Management through a direct and consistent customer relation to influence IT-related business decisions.  
  • You have a sound understanding of the relevant business area, related processes and interdependencies, in a highly cross functional environment like Laboratory Instrument, Laboratory Data Management and Data Integrity. 
  • You work with external partners to maximize the value of their services for BI and to ensure the successful implementation of projects or system enhancements.   
  • As a champion for agile working methodologies, you spread the mindset within the wider BI organization. 
  • During all phases of computer system lifecycle, you ensure compliant system build, operation and maintenance in accordance with relevant regulations (e.g. GxP).

Profil
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Natural Sciences or Bachelor’s degree combined with long-term relevant work experiences 
  • Several years of professional experience in an international IT or Business environment (e.g. RDM, HPS) with a focus on laboratory IT systems is a must
  • Interest in innovative technologies and their implementation in the laboratory environment  
  • Strong experience and track record of leading medium-sized, cross-functional IT implementation projects in a fast-moving and agile project environment
  • Strong team player with a high willingness to learn and solution-oriented approach, who enjoys working in an international and intercultural environment 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English (verbal and written)
